First Meeting was a Huge Success!

Hard at work!

Thank you to all of the wonderful student council members who came to our first meeting ready to get to work. We have a fun year planned, and I loved hearing your ideas and working with you.

Don't forget that next week we will be making advertisements for our Box Tops drive. It is important that each member (or pair of members if you want to work with a friend) create an advertisement. The more we advertise, the more Box Tops we will receive! An advertisement could be a digital poster, a slideshow, a music video, or a digital puppet show. We can also do live skits on MDETV, and go to classrooms to talk to students about our program.

We are also now on Instagram as @mdestuco. This Instagram account will be our digital scrapbook for the year. Our historian was on the job this morning, as you can see above.

I think this is going to be a wonderful year for our Student Council!
